Evelyn Robinson

The Blythe & Forsbrook Times is reporting the sad news that Evelyn Robinson, who was well known to many of us, has passed away at the age of 92 at her home in Totsmonlow.

Though she was active in many local community groups, many will remember her as the sub-postmistress at Draycott Post Office, where she worked for over thirty years.
The Times reports that she was born at Totsmonlow in 1919.

The Times devotes half a page to memories of her in its 23rd November issue. If you can’t get a copy, the library at Blythe Bridge should have one.

The Sentinel has also published an obituary, which you can read if you click here.
