After being behind at half-time, Draycott Potter – who play on the pitch in Cresswell Old Lane – eventually shot six past Barlaston in a thrilling match on a freezing cold morning last Sunday.
The final result was 6-3.
As reporter Enya Lloyd-Williams said in the Cheadle & Tean Times: “Draycott Potter’s team spirit and pure grit carried them onwards through the pain and tiredness barrier.”
The result put the team into the top half of the Uttoxeter & District Sunday Football League.
Next home match is March 18th v Uttoxeter Town, 10.30 kick-off.
