2019:  ‘A Vision for Draycott Parish’ meeting at Draycott Sports Centre was on Monday 12th August 2019.  A open meeting for residents and local councillors about our hopes for the area – both positive & negative comments were welcome. Organised by Draycott in the Moors Parish Council

2020:  CANCELLED (Covid)   The Anchor Inn’s ‘Flower Veg & Home Produce Show’ in Teanford.

2020:  CANCELLED (Covid)    Blythe Colour Works ‘Memories and Memorabilia’ 100th Anniversary Exhibition

2020:  CANCELLED (Covid)     Sausage & Cider Festival at the Draycott Arms.

2019:  Funeral of Bessie Hammond was on Thursday 12th September 2019 at St. Margaret’s Church, Draycott

2019: Screening of Baskeyfield VC – the film about Sergeant Jack Baskeyfield, the Potteries soldier won the Victoria Cross in WW2 – was on Wednesday 18 September 2019 at Stoke Film Theatre: doors open 7pm, screening at 19.45. The film was made by Cresswell man Bill Townley (see story); and there was also an exhibition of material relating to the making of the film.
